This Privacy Policy explains how ZOPERZ Private Limited("ZOPERZ", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and safeguards your personal information when you use the ZOPERZwebsite and app (the "Platform"). We are committed to handling your data in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information we collect

• Account & contact information:name, email address, phone number and city.
• Device & warranty data:the products you add, their brand, model, purchase and warranty dates, and images of bills/invoices you upload (which we may process using OCR to auto-fill details).
• Booking & service data:repair requests, AMC plans, marketplace listings and your service history.
• Payment information:payments are processed by our gateway partner, Razorpay Software Private Limited. We receive confirmation and limited transaction metadata, but we do not collect or store your full card, UPI or bank credentials.
• Location data:with your permission, approximate or precise location to match you with nearby Partners.
• Usage & device information:app interactions, device type, operating system and diagnostic data, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use your information

• to provide warranty tracking, reminders, repair booking and other Services;
• to process payments, escrow and payouts through Razorpay;
• to verify Partners and match Customers with suitable Partners;
• to send transactional and reminder notifications (and, with consent, updates);
• to provide support, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations;
• to improve and secure the Platform.

3. How we share your information

We share personal information only as needed, including with:

• Repair Partners:the details necessary to fulfil a booking you make (for example, your name, contact and address for the service visit);
• Razorpay Software Private Limited and other service providers (messaging, cloud hosting, maps, analytics, logistics) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations;
• Authorities when required by law, regulation or valid legal process.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser or device settings; disabling some may affect Platform functionality.

5. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and thereafter as required to comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations or to resolve disputes. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. Card and payment data are handled by a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
